  1. Hi Alex

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! My name is Allie and I will be blogging with you over the summer. You have made a great start to the programme.
I love your presentation of the first activity. It looks great.
I hope you enjoyed reading about Maui. He is a very important part of the history of Aotearoa. He was a little bit sneaky don't you think?

I am looking forward to reading your posts over the summer.

    Well done Alex

  3. Hi Alex!

My name is Ellee and I am also a part of the Summer Learning Journey crew that is blogging with you this summer!

I hope you have had an awesome Christmas and New Years break?

You made an awesome start to the activities, this is beautifully presented!
I thought that it was pretty cool that Maui's fish made the North Island and his canoe made the south. (It is true that the North Island really does look like a stingray too!)
What did you think about Maui's brothers? I have older siblings but I don't think they would have left me out like that (at least I hope not!).

Hope to see you back blogging soon Alex!
    Ellee :)
