Word Art

Over the last two weeks we had to write kind and positive things about each other, then put them in, paper, boxes we had made. We then made a word art cloud.

Cricket

On the 27 of November we had a person named Paddy come and teach us a little a bit of cricket. Here are some photos.

Knights

On the 20 of November we had a different teacher called Mrs Meikle. We had to make a presentation on knights.  Harrison and I made a slide-show.

Headphones

In writing we have written about if we should keep headphones or not. We used an OREO template to write it.

Should we have Headphones?
I think that Headphones should remain in Room 6 because they are helpful for school work. 

Would you like it if you had to set your class to watch an educational video,  then have all of the noise repeating around the room from the video? 

Headphones should remain in Room 6 because they are helpful for blocking out music when people need to concentrate. If we didn’t have headphones there would be music booming around the room and it would be hard to be heard. 

Study.com states that the “Mozart effect” can help enhance your intelligence* and music can be soothing and it can relax you. Background music can also help you focus on your work. Some people think that music helps them with memorization. 

I think that headphones should remain in Room 6 because they can help with your learning.


*Intelligence is being clever I think, the dictionary couldn’t help me this time.

Reasearch

For reading we had some activates that we could do and Miro and I deiced to make a drawing on Cyclone Research.

 

Look into His Eyes

We had to write a sentences from a picture. Called Look into His Eyes.

The moon lights up the dark street good enough for me to see the road to my miserey.

I stroll along the dark road to the camp, which I was put into this camp, two weeks ago, when lots of people came to the blimin place.

A dark shadowy figure sprints across the street looking like he was trying to escape, from the camp.

I want to escape and I think it might happen.

Holiday Project

During the holidays we had to make a drawing with a sentence describing the setting of a book. I made mine on a book called Gangsta Granny by David Walliams. We had to include the author, a picture or drawing and the page number.
